1.4 Million Jobs in Banking Sector by 2022

This is a good news for millions of youngsters who are waiting for jobs in Banking Sector and other related sectors that in the coming years around 14 Lakh jobs will be created as the Report of National Skill Development Corporation has produced.

1.4 Million Jobs in Banking Sector

This news has instilled confidence in those youngsters who have been burning midnight oil to crack the Banking recruitment exam for the last many months. The jobs will be out in almost in all the banks like SBI, RBI, PNB etc.

It is necessary to note that to fill these various posts there shall be the need of the skilled youths from all sectors. It is quite interesting that in the recent few years a new trend has been seen for Banking Sector.

Besides the Commerce background students, there have been the candidates from the engineering and IT sectors. This new trend has increased the competition among the job-seekers but also enhance the no of the employees who are technical savvy.

As per the new trade, the 50% newcomers in the banking sector are from the Information Technology Sector, 20% of them are MBAs and 10% from the Commerce Stream.

Job Recruitment for the Fiscal Year 2015

There have been many recruitments for the current fiscal year. More than 16,000 Officers, around 3,700 SOs and more than 30,000 clerks have been recruited in various Govt Banks through IBPS.

There are many banks which are in the process of recruiting more than 50,000 employees both officers and clerks. Only Syndicate Bank will recruit more than 5,000 recruitments – 2,900 officers and rest of the clerks.

On the whole there is the sharp increase of 25% in the BankingĀ  sector Recruitment for 2015-16.
