About Central University Jammu ( A brief Story)
CU Jammu not a very old university has come in to existence on 8th of August 2011. The university was set up by Central University Act 2009. The aim and objectives are beautifully summarized by Prof Ashok Aima, its Vice-chancellor ( message has been edited a bit) –
The university aims to bring acumen for innovation, fostering skill and talent in research and scientific knowledge, and vocational pursuits……
So the main aim to set the varsity to create more opportunities for the youngsters of the region to get better and qualitative education with more and more job opportunities.
