Haryana govt has taken a decision that for the session 2015-16, College admissions will go online with Online College Admission System. The Online Registration began on 5th of June and the last date for the Admission to various Under Graduate and Post Graduate Courses is 27th of June.
This rule will apply to all the Govt Colleges in the state. The Admission Fee shall also be filled online. This System is called Online College Admission System ( OCAS ). This information was given by the Education Minister Mr Ram Bilas Sharma.
As per him the decision to this effect was taken under the dynamic and visionary leadership of Haryana CM Mr Manohar Lal Khattar.
The Education Minister told the reporters that this Online Admission System would serve many purposes such as it would bring transparency in the Admission Process, Make the process easier for the students as well as for the College Administration etc.

How to Apply for OCAS 2015 –
- For applying online the candidates need to visit the official website first of all and that is – www.highereduhry.ac.in or www.highereduhry.com
- Here on the first page you shall find the link Online Admission.
- The Application format will open.
- Click on it and fill the required details and submit it.
- Take out one copy of the application form.
Mandatory documents for the Admission –
Submission of the hard copy of the Application Form along with photocopies of 10th and 12th DMCs, Caste Certificate, Proof of Weightage and Aadhar No or Bank Account no at the Concerned College counter by 27th of June.
Note : Students can apply online free of cost from any of the Govt Colleges in Haryana.
The Admissions to UG and PG for first year will be given by 4:00 pm on 27th of June. For the 2nd and 3rd year admission the candidates are required to consult the College administration as the admission to these classes will take place offline.
