Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited (HPGCL) a leading Power Production Company of Haryana has invited applications ( Technical Posts ) for the Posts of Jr Engineers and Assistant Engineers.

Thousands of educationally qualified candidates are applying for the posts. There are 288  posts of Junior Engineers (J.E) and the 317 Posts of Assistant Engineers (A.E).

Though the Online Applications are being filled this time, the candidates are worried over the Written Exam Preparation. It is note-worthy that there shall be the Written Exam for the Selection. The Successful candidates of this test shall be allowed to take Interview.

The Written test shall be of 88% whereas the Interview will be of 12%. So the Written test holds a great importance in the Selection Criteria.

HPGCL AE Syllabus and Pattern –

No doubt, there shall be an Objective Type Exam. There shall be two papers. Paper 1 will be about the specific knowledge and Part 2 will be about the General Knowledge.

• The Part 1 will consist of 120 Questions from the syllabus of your concerned Diploma.
• The Part 2 will have just 50 questions from English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and Current Affairs.

Model Test Paper for English Preparation

The total time allotted for the exam shall be 120 minutes. One Minute for One Question.

HPGCL JE Syllabus and Exam Pattern –

There shall be the same syllabus and Pattern for the Jr Engineer Exam. It means there shall be the two papers – one from the technical Syllabus and other from the General syllabus. The no of questions and marks criteria shall be the same as of AE .

The Written exam is just the first step, as we have earlier mentioned. It will inevitably be followed by Interview. But the maximum marks of the selection shall come from the Written exam.

So far the concerned department has not uploaded the Jr Engineer and Assistant Engineer Syllabus and Pattern. There are chances that there may be a bit of change in the Exam Pattern and Syllabus. WE shall update this post with HPGCL JE and AE Written Exam Syllabus and Pattern.
