Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh 2016 – The UP Govt has cancelled the ongoing Selection Process for the Posts of Assistants, Watchman ( Chowkidar), Accountant to be selected for UP Panchayati Raj Department of the state immediately. The decision of cancellation came out following the irregularities in the Selection Procedure.
Acting on the report related with big irregularities that came to light . The news was in some local Hindi Dainik. The Govt has also blacklisted the Services of the Recruiting Agency Harsh Staffing Solutions. Allegedly this agency had violated the Norms related with Recruitment Process.

उत्तर प्रदेश पंचायती राज में सहायक, चौकीदार व् अन्य 19554 पदों पर होने वाली नियुक्ति पर UP सरकार द्वारा तुरंत प्रभाव से रोक लगा दी है। इसकी वजह नियुक्ति में होने वाली गड़बड़ियों का सामने आना है। यह दिखता है कैसे पंचायती राज विभाग व् सेवा प्रदाता एजेन्सियां तरह की भर्तियों में अपनी मनमानी करती हैं.। लेकिन एक अच्छी खबर भी है की उत्तर प्रदेश जल्द ही 64554 पदों पर पंचायती राज विभाग में नियुक्ति करने जा रही है।
The UP Govt has made it clear that the persons involved in the UP Panchayati Raj Selection Scam would get punishment accordingly.
The Panchayati Raj Department had invited applications. It had invited as per the recommendations made by 14th Finance Commission to fill technical and Administrative Posts in Law Panchayat and Regional Panchayat levels. At Law Panchayat Level, Assistant Co-Computer Operator and Chowkidar and Regional Panchayat Level Accountant, Computer Operator etc. posts were out.
Under this Recruitment as many as 19,554 posts had come out in the Concerned department. Panchayati Raj Dept gave this task of recruiting the candidates for these said posts to the Service Providing Agencies without following rules and regulations. These Service Providing Agencies also looted the people by starting Online Registration in the name of Panchayati Raj Recruitment.
When this news reached the concerned department, the inquiry took place. After finding all the things correct, the UP Panchayati Raj Selection became null and void temporarily.
Mahender Kumar, Secretary, Panchayati Raj apprised Anil Kumar Damele, Director Panhayati Raj of the decision. The concerned department took the quickest action in this case. The written letter shall reach the concerned department by Monday.
