The 10th Pass Indian Citizens had applied for the SSB Constable Two Thousand and Sixty Eight Posts as Drivers, Cook, Washer-man, Barber, Water Carrier, Safaiwala via advertisement no 293/RC/SSB/ RECTT/ CTs/2016. A great no of candidates had applied for these posts.
The Procedure for inviting the Applications had begun from 18th of June and went on till 18th of July. No doubt, a great no of applications were received. After the applications properly scrutinized, the next process shall begin.
Update 2021 –
SSB has invited applications for 1522 posts of CT Driver, Plumber, Washer man, Cook, Barber etc. PET ( Physical Efficiency Test ) and PST ( Physical Standards Test ) will take place in Aug/ Sept 2021. Admit Card/ Roll No. will be necessary for entering the exam venue.
SSB Constable Recruitment Selection Procedure 2021-2022-2023
The Selection Procedure shall include Physical Efficiency Test, Physical Standard Test, Document Verification, Written Test, Trade Test and Detailed Medical Examination. The success in each of these steps shall take the candidates to other step.
The PET shall check the Physical Efficiency of both Male and Female Candidates. The Male candidates shall have to run a race of 4.8 kms in 24 Minutes whereas the female candidates will have to cover the 2.4 kms in 18 minutes. The Ex-servicemen shall be exempted from the test.
In the SSB PST, the height and chest of the candidates shall be measured. But for undergoing such tests, the candidates need to get the PST/PET Call Letters.

The Constable Written Test shall include General Knowledge, Numerical Ability, General English, General Hindi, General Reasoning.
The SSB Trade Test shall carry 50 Marks and the reserved categories will require to secure at least 60% marks in that.
