The Test took place for two categories of posts – Postman and Mail Guards. However before direct landing there, read the useful information in the midst paragraphs.
The TS Postal Circle Dept had issued notification no RE-11// PM & MG/ DR/TS 2015-16 to fill as many as Seventy Five Posts for both kinds of posts. The concluding date for applying was 4th of Sept 2016.
Even for such meager no of applications, a huge no applications were received. Immediately after that, the Exam conducting body underwent the scrutiny of the application forms. Then these shortlisted candidates got the admit card for the exam.
The maximum no of posts were for Postman ( 70) and the rest ( 05) for Mail Guards. Check the region-wise distribution of the posts –
Postman Posts –
- For Hyderabad Region, there were Twenty Six Posts.
- Hyderabad City Region had Forty Five Posts.
And for Mail Guard posts ( Five)
- There was only RMS Division.
Though the divisions belong to the state, they are Central Govt jobs. The qualification for these posts is 10th class.

Exam Pattern for TS Exam –
The Aptitude Test for both the posts occurred on 11/12/2016. The test contained 100 Questions of 100 Marks. The exam had four parts namely Part A/ Part B/ Part C( i ) Part C (i) . Each of them was 25 Questions ( Marks). The topics were –
General Knowledge, Reasoning and Analytical Ability, Mathematics, Languages ( English/ Tamil). The duration of the exam was two hours. The base of the syllabus was matric. For the candidates who had undergone the proper preparation, it was not-so-tough exam. A bit of problem arose in Maths portion. There was no problem of shortage of timing.

Telangana PC Postman/ MG Result 2016-
