First of all it is imperative to know the name and no of the posts for which this Written exam was held by TNPSC. These posts are – Deputy Collector – Nineteen, Deputy Superintendent of Police Twenty Six, Assistant Commissioner Twenty One, District Registrar Eight.
To Select the candidates for the said posts, the commission had conducted the Preliminary Exam known as Combined Civil Services Exam ( CCSE ). The Question Paper of this Prelims Exam contained 200 Objective Type Questions for 300 Marks. The paper was of General Nature common for all the examinees irrespective of what posts they had applied for.
