UGC has asked CBSE on 26th of April to hold NET in July 2017. Therefore, the uncertainty hovering over the holding of NET by the Central Board is removed. The Notification for July 2017 which had to be out in April 2017 may be out by 10th of May 2017.
This is certainly a very good news for the aspirants wish to pursue their career in Research work or Teaching work in higher institutions of learning and education by clearing Junior Research Fellowship ( JRF ) or National Eligibility Test ( NET) by University Grants Commission.

The notification for the July NET 2017 will be out soon and the interested and eligible candidates ( 55% minimum for the General Candidates and lower for the reserved categories as per the UGC Norms ) will be able to apply online from May 2017. Besides the July, NET takes place in December as well.
We wish to provide you with this the useful information that the Test will be held after In July 2017 on any Sunday at Eighty Nine Exam Centers across the country. The test will take place for 84 various subjects offered by recognized universities.
University Grants Commission holds the Eligibility Test two times a year – in December and once in June. There are hundreds of thousands of candidates who take this one of the most tough exams. There are two papers – Paper 1 is meant for all the students of all the subjects whereas Paper 2 is about the specific subject. There are objective type questions with alternatives.

Fill Online Application for July 2017 – Dec NET
For July NET, the notification has been out so far. The reason is that CBSE was not willing to hold NET citing reasons such as overburdens of holding other exams too. But now it is clear that CBSE will discharge this duty and that also in July 2017. So you can expect Notification soon.
December Notification 2017 –
As we have mentioned above that the applications forms for the test shall be available from the month of Nov or the first week of Dec 2017. Last time, the exam hadn’t taken place in Dec 2016. The candidates had to wait for a month for that test in Jan 2017.
The candidates need to go to the official website for filling the application forms. They need to fill all the details with an utter care. Any wrong information may lead to cancellation of the application. This test is mandatory for being qualified for Research Fellowship and Professorship. So don’t leave any stone unturned for clearing this July/ December UGC NET/JRF.
