About CBSE UGC NET
CBSE conducts the NET and JRF Exam every year two times in December and June. The test is held for those who wish to enter the Higher Education either as teachers or as Researchers. National Eligibility Test is meant for those who wish to join Colleges and Universities in the capacity of teachers. Junior Research Fellowship is meant for those who wish to do the Research work and for that want to take admission to Ph.D programme.
For taking UGC NET/JRF, the candidates need to have 55% marks in the concerned subjects. For the unreserved candidates there is relaxation in the marks norms. As there is much craze among the young people in teaching at the Higher Level and Research work the no of examinees is increasing day by day, making UGC NET tougher year by year.
Last year, UGC had changed the pattern in the NET. Instead of Subjective Portion the focus shifted on Objective Portion making the exam a bit easier.
