CBSE UGC NET Result 2017 For November at cbseresults.nic.in

The candidates appearing in UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by CBSE on 5th of June 2017 at myriad centres across the country can check Result from the links on this page. The NET is conducted by CBSE or 84 Subjects at 1700 Examination Centres in the country with 91 cities. Due to the uncertainly as to who is to hold this test, it got delayed a lot. It had to take place in July earlier. Then the dates keep changing. Finally it got one in November 2017. Around 9.3 lakh candidates had taken this test. For most of the candidates, the test was not easy. There were three stages. Candidates got struck at point or at some other point. The Result may be out in December or January beginning.

All the candidates who have done their PG with 55 % marks ( some relaxation for the SC/ST categories ) can apply for the NET in their respective subjects. The NET/JRF is essential for becoming Assistant Professors in the colleges. NET/JRF is also imperative for doing any Research work in the concerned subjects.

NET is just a qualifying test by CBSE and UGC. In the past it was held by University Grants Commission and now this onus of conducting NET has been shifted to Central Board of School Education. There are two papers to check the competence of the examinees.

In the first paper there are Common Subjects whereas in the second Paper the focus is on the Specific Subjects. As the exam was held in June, the expectations for UGC NET 2017 Result has risen much. The Result for National Eligibility Test may come any time now.

CBSE ( UGC) NET Nov 2017 Result – Latest News / Updates

Central Board of School Education ( CBSE ) has unleashed the much-awaited Result of the National Eligibility Exam and Junior Research Fellow that was held in Nov 2017. The result can be seen at the official website of CBSE NET. You can go to the end of this page to have a look of your NET result.

The much delayed result had created anxiety among the candidates and they had become impatient as the NET July 2017 has already come to be held in November and even the candidates are uploading their UGC NET Nov 2017 Admit Cards.

The problem was that if the candidates were able to clear the NET or JRF in December, there was no need for them to re-apply for June NET. But due to the carelessness of the Board, they had to suffer mentally and economically.

About CBSE UGC NET

CBSE conducts the NET and JRF Exam every year two times in December and June. The test is held for those who wish to enter the Higher Education either as teachers or as Researchers. National Eligibility Test is meant for those who wish to join Colleges and Universities in the capacity of teachers. Junior Research Fellowship is meant for those who wish to do the Research work and for that want to take admission to Ph.D programme.

For taking UGC NET/JRF, the candidates need to have 55% marks in the concerned subjects. For the unreserved candidates there is relaxation in the marks norms. As there is much craze among the young people in teaching at the Higher Level and Research work the no of examinees is increasing day by day, making UGC NET tougher year by year.

Last year, UGC had changed the pattern in the NET. Instead of Subjective Portion the focus shifted on Objective Portion making the exam a bit easier.

There is the test of all the subjects – Hindi, English, Maths, History, Political Science, Public Ad, etc, science subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology etc and Commerce Subjects like Commerce, Business, Economics etc.
