Check Syllabus/ Pattern for the upcoming Lekhpal Exams in UP/ Latest Decisions in 2020-2021

Uttar Pradesh Revenue Department will issue Notification for millions of educated youngsters for the posts of Lekhpals ( Accountants) in the Revenue department of the state. Total Posts may be 4,000.  The Rajasva Department has begun the process to fill these empty seats in the department. This is just the announcement. However candidates will have to wait some more.

The interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply for these posts online. People must know that there are 3,000 posts are lying vacant in the state. Previously, the govt had banned to recruit the Lekhpals to give benefits of promotions to the already recruited candidates. Now the Lekhpal Recruiting System will be active soon.

The Eligibility for these posts is 10+2 from any of the streams. However the candidates can apply on the prescribed Application Format available at the official website. Total No of Posts may be round 4,000.

UPSSC may recruit 5200 lekhpals after the Corona Lock-down according to newspapers- Hindustan Jobs/ Amar Ujala.

The Selection Procedure 2020-2021 –

Latest Updates – UP govt has scrapped the interview system in the appointment of the Lekhpals. Now this appointment will depend upon only the written test.

We shall update the Syllabus/ Pattern near the exam.

The Selection shall be based on the performance on the Written Exam followed by the Interview schedule. The main thrust for the final selection shall be of the Lekhpal Written Exam that is scheduled on 30th of August. The result of the written test shall be announced in the month of September which will further be followed by the Interview Schedule.

Therefore the Written Exam is very important for you to reach the next level of selection. And to clear that you need to put your finger on the right Lekhpal Syllabus and Exam Pattern

There shall be four subjects for the written exam and which are – General Knowledge, Mathematics, General Hindi and Village Society and Development. There shall be 100 questions with 20 Questions each . The paper will be of 80 marks with 20 marks equally get space among these papers.

General Hindi – The topics of Hindi are – Metaphors ( Alankaras ), Samas, Antonyms ( Opposite Words ), Synonyms ( Same Words ), Tatsam and Tadbhav, Sandhi, One Word Substitution, Idioms and Phrases, Finding Sentence Errors – Nouns, Number, Cases, Errors in the Words etc.

General Mathematics :

This subject will comprise Profit and Loss, Statistics, Questions related with Frequency, Pie Chart, Mean, Median and Means, LCM and HCF, Quadratic Equations, Theorem Related Questions, Bar Chart, Triangle and Pythagoras Related questions, Questions related with Rectangle, Perimeter and Area of Circle etc. ( Read Mathematics up to 10th Class ) .

General Knowledge –

Current Affairs in the State, Country and Abroad, Rewards, Indian Politics, History, Geography, Political Science, Sports, Foreign Trips, Visits, State related Questions ( Reference : Read History, Geography and Pol Science Up to 10+2 ).

Rural Society and Development :

Questions Regarding Village Development Programmes and Management, Village Health Schemes, Land Reformation etc.

How to crack UP Lekhpal  Exam – Some Tips

  • Read the syllabus completely.
  • Clear all the topics.
  • Read books up to Intermediate level.
  • Most of the syllabus will be covered from there.
  • For national and international updates read the magazines like Pratiyogita Darpan, Prtiyogita Kiran etc and Read Newspapers daily.
  • Read last years Question Papers.
  • Do practice from the Practice Sets available in the books and Online.
