In this selection of Assistant Teachers, the Written exam will play a pivotal role. The first shortlist shall be out on the basis of the candidates in this exam. So this SLST holds a great significance for the aspirants of these posts. The candidates need at least 3 or 4 months to clear this exam. - No doubt, it shall be a test consisting Multiple Choice Questions with Alternatives. The WBSSC SLST shall be of 55 marks out of which the Cut Off is predecided –
- For General Cat Candidates, the Cut off is 22 Marks.
- For SC/ST/OBC and PH candidates the cut off is marginally lower which is – 19 Marks
- The Level of the Exam shall be as per the Qualifying degree. The questions shall be from the classes on the basis of which the candidates have applied for the said posts.
- The candidates shall be provided 60 minutes for this 55 mark test.
