Grade Pay ( GP) – It’s a total pay that depends upon category/ pay band / nature of employment.
Basic Pay – This is the total of Grade Pay & Pays in the Pay bands.
First of all get to know the Pay Scale of Jr Commissioned Officer (JCO) or OR
Lance Naik (Pay Band 1)
LN gets the Pay of Rs 5200 – 20200 with the Grade Pay Rs 2000. Besides he gets for Military Service Rs 2000 with X group pay Rs 1400.
Salary of Sepoy or Rifleman (Pay Band 1) in Indian Army
After getting recruited as Sepoy or Rifleman, the youngsters get the following salary.
Pay Structure is Rs 5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs 1800. For Military Service, Rifleman gets Rs 2 k with X (Technical) group pay Rs 1400.
Complete Salary of Naik (Pay Band 1)
Pay Structure is Rs 5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs 2400. For Military Service, Naik gets Rs 2 k with X Group Pay Rs 1400.

Havildar (Pay Band 1) – Salary with Grade Pay and other Services
For Havildar post, the Pay Structure is Rs 5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs 2800. For Military Service, Havildar gets Rs 2000/- with X Group Pay Rs 1400.
Naib Subedar (Pay Band 2)
Pay Structure is Rs 9300 – 34800 with Grade Pay Rs 4200. For Military Service, he receives Rs 2000/- with X Group Pay Rs 1400.
Subedar (Pay Band 2)
For this post, Pay Structure is Rs 9300 – 34800 with Grade Pay Rs 4600. Subedar gets Rs 2000/- For Military Service with X Group Pay Rs 1400.
Subedar Major (Pay Band 2)
For Subedar Major Pay Structure is Rs 9300 – 34800 with Grade Pay Rs 4800. For Military Service, Subedar Major gets Rs 2000/- in addition X Group Pay Rs 1400.
Captain (Pay Band 3)
Pay – Rs 15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs 6100. For MS, a Captain gets Rs 6 k.
Lieutenant (Pay Band 3)
Pay Structure is Rs 15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs 5400. For Military Service, Lieutenant gets Rs 6 k.
