There is a great news for millions of sports-lover young children to prove their mettle in sports/ games they play. Vice-President of India Venkaiya Naidu has launched National Hunt Talent Search Portal on the occasion of Sports Day on August 28th, 2017. The venue of the launch was Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, New Delhi. The main objective is to search the booming talent in various sports across the country and hone them for better future.

The aspirants can apply online by reaching this portal. Even the Prime Minister had made a reference of this portal in his 28th August 2017 Mann Ki Baat Programme. He said that there was the time when children loved sports very much. Their mothers had to tell them to come back. However, now the time has completely changed. Now the children wish to stay inside their homes playing video-games and watching TV. Now the situation is that mothers have to ask their children to go out to play some games..

Therefore the PM said that in order to encourage the youngsters to play games, the govt would launch a Sports Talent Search Portal. The Parents can register the names of their wards online on this portal if they think that they are good in that particular sports. Then the sports ministry will train these young players.
