One of the largest recruitment exams in the state, the Group 4 Services exam will be conducted very soon. This exam will be organised by the Telangana Public Service Commission.
All preparations have been completed by now. As per the reports published in various sources, more than 15 Lakh candidates will participate in the Group IV exam. Furthermore, the Commission is organising the group 4 recruitment exam after a gap of whopping 5 years.
Hall Tickets for the Group 4 Exam will be uploaded and distributed by the commission online. The candidates who have submitted applications online for this exam should be aware that the commission will not send their admit cards by post to the postal addresses they registered. Thus, they must download the Group 4 Hall Ticket by using the links provided by the commission on the official website.
tspsc.gov.in Group 4 Examination Details
The announcement of Group 4 Services was made in December 2022 by the TSPSC. As per the notification, 9168 vacancies will be filled up through this recruitment drive in the state. Online applications for the Group 4 vacancy were invited from 30 December to 03 February.
Following this, the examination schedule was released way earlier so the applicants can prepare themselves for the written examination.
For those, who are going to participate in this exam, it is necessary to understand the paper pattern and exam scheme for the Group 4 Services.
Paper Pattern and Exam Scheme
The paper pattern for the Group 4 Services in the state is as follows.
- There will be two sections in the Group 4 Exam i.e. Paper I & Paper II.
- The question paper will be conducted in Hindi, Telugu and Urdu languages.
- Both Papers will consist of 150 questions each and Total Marks will be 300.
- Candidates will get 150 minutes for each paper.
- One mark will be awarded for each correct answer.
- There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for incorrect answers as well.
Candidates should prepare themselves according to the paper pattern mentioned above.
