The WB TET shall be organized for the Upper Primary Level for the thousands of candidates who aspire to become teachers in the Govt and Private schools in the State. It is well-known that every state conducts Teachers' Eligibility Test besides the Centre Test called CTET. In Haryana there is HTET, in UP there is UPTET etc.
Now it has been mandatory to clear this eligibility test to be the teachers to teach Primary Classes and Upper Primary Classes. Even in some states, the TET is compulsory to for the PGT and TGT Classes.
Result for TET, 2014 held on 11th October 2015 is available now. So the way is clear for Next TET. The aspirants can download their WB TET Roll from the links ahead. The candidates need to secure only 60% marks in this eligibility test. There is 5% relaxation for other Reserved Class Candidates.

The Admit Cards are not merely a piece of paper that contain your Roll No. It is an Entry Ticket to the Examination Hall. Besides your Exam Roll No, your Admit Card shall contain your Photo, Exam Address, your Signature etc. These identity marks are matched during the exam. Therefore after downloading your TET 2017-2018 Admit Card, it is imperative for you ensure that these mentioned IDs are correct.
The Board has not declared the 2018 Exam Date so far. It is supposed to be out soon now along with Admit Card Notification.

Instructions regarding the WB TET Call Letters -
- It is suggested to use a better version of Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome or any other browser for better Print of the admit cards.
- JAVA Script must be enabled in your browser.
- The Print of the WB Teachers' Eligibility Test must be on the paper with the size of A-4.
- For any discrepancy the candidates must bring the soft copy of the Proper Photograph with signature in a virus free Pen Drive /CD and also the Print out of the Admit Card.
Last Minute Preparation Tips for WB TET 2017-2018-2019 -
There shall be the test of 150 Marks. The contents of the Exam are - Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1 and Language 2 ( All these subjects are compulsory for all the candidates) all of them are of 30 marks each.
Then there are optional subjects as per your Teaching alternatives. This portion shall consist of 60 Marks. So there is the need to prepare for the Test topic wise.
Now the time has come to check last years' Question papers. Check the nature and frequency of the questions. So revise those topics from where the questions have been asked quite frequently.
Practice must be done on OMR Sheets now. Correct your timing and prepare strategy for doing various topics. Find your strengths and weaknesses and work on them accordingly.
