Most of the students get confused over this issue. There is always a query in their mind if they can get jobs in banking sectors after BA. There is a myth that only commerce students can get jobs in banks. The reason are the subjects- Accountancy, Commerce, Economics. Students of all the streams ( Science/ Commerce/ Arts ) join the banking sectors in various capacities. It means Commerce is not compulsory. However, there are some specific posts which are reserved only for the students of commerce.

There is the written test of 200 marks. It is followed by Interview. After the selection in the bank, the candidates are given training regarding their jobs. So there is no specific role of Commerce of in the job selection. It is open for all.
