Haryana Govt today took a significant decision by approving a proposal of introducing Common Entrance Test for all the students in the state. The decision will come into reality for admission in the session 2016-17. From now any of the universities shall not be able to hold separate entrance exams.
The meeting took place at Panchkula in which a no of concerned dignitaries participated. The Proposal for the One entrance test was put forward by Prof SK Gakhar, Vice- Chancellor of CDLU. The meeting took place under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary of Higher Education.
Note – Admission for 2019-2020 Session has begun. Students can apply via online mode.
The Online applications for this Common entrance exam shall be available online. Therefore the links for that shall be available soon. Moreover, the candidates shall have to give the list of the universities as per the preferred order at the time of filling the application forms. Various universities will hold entrance exams only for selected subjects. Check the subjects name along with the university that will hold the entrance test for the particular test.
University and subject wise Entrance exams –
- MDU shall take the entrance test for Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry and Life Science
- KUK shall hold the Common Entrance exam for the subjects such as Commerce, Management, Social Work and Journalism.
- CDLU shall be given the responsibility to hold the Common Test for the subjects like Law, Political Science, and Public Administration.
- BPS, Mahila Vishvidyalaya Khanpurkalan ( Sonepat ) shall conduct the Admission Test for the courses like English, Hindi and Economics.
- IG University Meerpur shall hold the written exam for giving admission to the courses like Geography and History.
- CBLU, Bhiwani will arrange the Common Entrance Test for Physics and Mathematics.
- CRS University Jind will have the accountability to hold the Competitive exams for the subjects like Psychology and Physical Education.
