To end the suspense over the dates of exams of 9th and 11th classes, HBSE has declared the exam schedule for both the classes. The board has already declared the date-sheets for board classes ( 10th and 12th classes). For the secondary class, the exam will start from 8th of March and for Sr Secondary, the date is 7th of March. After the declaration of the board classes date-sheets, all eyes were on non-board exams.
The theoretical papers for both the exams ( 9th and 11th ) will have the following timing –
It is 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. It means the students will have only 2:30 hours to take these exams. The timing is earlier because in March, the weather gets hotter.
The first paper for the 9th standard will be English on 1st March i.e. Thursday. The papers will end on 17th of March ( Saturday ). The last paper will be of Information Technology and Enabling Services ( ITES).
For 10+1 classes also, the first paper shall be of English Language. The last paper will end on 24th of March 2018.
The board has provided special facilities for those who are not able to write. During the exam, they can use the services of amanuensis and will get 20 minutes extra for finishing their exams.
Students will not be able to carry mobiles / calculators in the examination hall. This effort of the students shall be considered illegal/ using unfair means. However, the candidates shall get more information regarding their exams from their own schools.
For the detailed date-sheets of both the classes, the students must visit the official website of the board or use the following link –
A piece of Advice for Final Preparation –
After the date-sheets are out, the students must gird up their loins. Revision must be their priority. Instead of oral learning, they must emphasize on written practice.
Best wishes for future.
