Haryana Govt is on the job providing spree these days. A no of Screening Tests are taking place almost every day. This Sunday on 29th of May another exam for the Posts of Shift Attendant for Haryana Electricity Board Companies i.e. UHBVN, DHBVN and HVPNL. took place. Around one lac candidates for 2426 Posts were expected to take this exam that took place in two shifts i.e. morning and evening.
Result Update 26th Jan 2017 – As HSSC is hurriedly declaring results of various Screening Tests, the aspirants for Shift Attendant can also expect it very soon. Whenever it is out, we shall inform you via links ahead.
The morning paper began at 10:30 am for which the candidates had reached the examination centre at 9:00 am. The candidates had even reached at the examination centre at 7 or 8. In the same way, for the evening shift the examinees also reached much earlier the reporting time that was 1:30 pm. The exam started at 3:00 pm.

The Paper was of 160 Marks with the common contents for both the exams. We shall be able to give you the Exam Review by 9 pm of 29th of May. In the meantime, you are free to give comments in the comment box below. These comments shall help us conclude the nature of the exam.

The respondents had advertised posts of Shift Attendant for
which the essential qualification was two years diploma course. The
petitioners are three years diploma holders. However, they could not apply
because in the on-line application system there was no provision for a
person to apply who was three years diploma holder. The contention raised
in the present petition is that thereafter the Commission (after the
intervention of this Court in a few cases) realized that it could not bar
candidates with higher qualification from applying and some such
candidates were allowed to apply but no public notice in this regard was
issued by which other persons like the petitioners having higher
qualification would have come to know that they are also eligible to apply.
It is also further stated that only the written test has been conducted and
therefore the situation is not beyond redemption even today.
To my mind that may not be a complete argument because the
Court has not only to consider the interest of such persons who could have
applied but also the interest of the general public to have posts filled.
Be that as it may, I deem it appropriate to issue notice to the
respondents. Ordered accordingly.
On the asking of the Court, Ms. Shruti Jain Goyal, Assistant
Advocate General, Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
Learned counsel for the petitioners undertakes to supply two
copies of the paper book to the learned A.A.G. during the course of the day.
