Check 9th Sept 2017 RRB PO Exam Exact Analysis with Expected Minimum Cut Off Based on Interview with an Examinee

There were huge candidates gathered at various examination centres to take RRB Officer Scale – 1 ( PO) Exam. After the exam is over, we are presenting a brief exam analysis on the basis of our communication with one of the examinees, Mr Tushar Kansal from Haryana. This will also help you to get a fair picture of your expected score in this test. Besides, we have prepared minimum expected cut off marks.

Have a Glimpse at the exam Pattern first of all –

The test contained 80 questions in all. The examinees had to cover them in 45 minutes time. So there were approximately below 50 seconds for each question. So timing was very important. It was the online test. There were two subjects Math and Reasoning carrying 40 questions equally.

Analysis of RRB PO Quantitative Aptitude

Out of total 40 questions, 16 to 17 questions were quite easy which the examinees could have cleared in 10 minutes’ time. The topic Approximation carried 5 questions in doing which the candidates found no difficulty. Data Interpretation had 3 Sets. Out of them, two were quite easy but one made the students feel giddy. Quadratic Equations with Five Questions caused no problem to the aspirants. They were in Easy/ Moderate Mode.

Other topics such as Speed, Distance and Time, Percentage, Questions on Ages, Average etc were carrying one question each. They were not so tricky.

Reasoning was comparatively easy. The candidates could have solved 25 to 26 questions in 14 to 15 minutes. The biggest portion of the question paper was formed by Sitting Arrangement and Puzzles. They carried 20 questions out of total 40 ones. So much depended upon this part. According to Tushar, this portion was no so easy. It made their brains exercise a lot.

Inequality has 5 easy questions. In the same way, Syllogism with five questions caused no panic among the examinees. There were no questions from Possibilities.

Expected Cut Off Score in IBPS RRB PO 9th Sept Evening Session Exam –

Though it shall be the overall cut off, that will make the merit, we are sharing you session-wise cut off marks. Seeing the level of the exam, we have reached the point that the minimum cut off may be some around 55 to 58. If you are able to grab this score, you can expect to reach the next level of selection of RRB PO Recruitment.
