Now the parents in Govt Schools in will get the information about their children like other private schools. They will be able to get this information via PTM. In all these govt schools Parents-Teachers meeting will take place on 27th of January. It will be Saturday on this date.
The parents will get the study performance for the classes 9th to 12th. The teachers will tell the parents how they can help in improving the board result for these classes. The teachers will also share some tips with the parents which will be helpful in the preparations of the students.
The Delhi Govt has followed this system of the meeting in order to improve the standard of Education. The PTM will take place in two shifts. The timing of morning shift is from 8 am to 2 pm. The PTM in the evening shift will take place from 2:00 to 6:00.
During the PTM, the students from Nursery to fifth classes will attend the classes whereas there shall be holiday for 6th, 7th and 8th classes. It must be noted that it is compulsory for the students of 10th and 12th classes to continue to come till 24th of Feb 2018.
The students must inform all the parents. The schools will also help the students in making the time table for the better preparation. Schools will also request the parents to play a bigger role in the preparation of these students. The parents will get the information about the meeting in written. The govt will promote the parents to participate in the PTM in great no.
The Parents have welcomed this initiative. They also expected that this move will certainly be helpful in the board preparations. So it should be interesting to see how effective shall be the first Parents and Teachers meeting.
