Admission to AYUSH Courses through CET this year & NEET 2018 Must

This is a big news for the aspirants who wish to take admission to various undergraduate courses under AYUSH will have to take CET ( Common Entrance Test) this year. This information was shared by Sh Anil Vij, Health and AYUSH Minister, Haryana Govt. He informed that govt would allow the admissions to these courses on via CET for this year ( 2017).

However, from the next year, the candidates seeking admission to BAMS, BHMS, Siddha and Unani UG Courses will have to undergo National Eligibility-cum- Entrance Exam ( NEET). As everybody knows that NEET is compulsory exam for getting admission to MBBS, BDS courses. Every year lakhs of students appear in this one of the most prestigious medical entrance exam.

The Minister said that on the basis of their performance in CET, the students shall get admission to all government and private colleges of the state for 2017-2018. As for the NEET is compulsory for admission to such courses under AYUSH, he said that they formed the decision on the basis of the letter received from the Centre dated 26/04/2017.

So there is some relief for the aspirants for this year. Undoubtedly, from the next year, tougher competition to get admission.

Govt has fixed some norms for admissions for various technical courses to Private Universities in Haryana. Now all these private universities shall have to give admissions to their technical courses through centralized entrance examinations held by the HSTCS. It’s Full form is Haryana State Technical Counselling Society. It is note-worthy that some Private universities are holding their own entrance tests to give admissions to some Technical Courses.

Most of the courses are from Medical, Technical and Agricultural fields. Besides the technical courses, other professional courses these private universities offer are B.Ed, Law, MBA etc. Even they charge great amount as fees from the helpless students for these courses.

Fee for 4 Engineering Colleges Fixed –

Govt has fixed fees for four engineering colleges in the state for the session 2017-18. Now the students will have to pay Rs 40,000 per year. These colleges are – Ch Devi Lal State Institute of Engineering and Technology, Panniwala Mota in Sirsa, Ch Ranbir Sing State Institute of  Engineering and Technology, Silani Kesho in Jhajjar, RB State Institute of Engg and Tech, Rewari, Govt Engineering College, Nilokheri.
