Update July 2022 -
The written test of NEET 2022 may take place on 17th July 2022. The admit card/ roll no. was out on 12th July. The official answer key may be available at the official website of NEET - https:// neet.nta.in. Unofficial answer key may be available at the websites of some big coaching institutes after some time. We shall also update this post with the NEET result, cut off, merit list, answer key, counselling date etc. at the right time.
Update Jan 2022 -
The counselling ( round I ) for NEET for UG and PG will take place on Jan 12,2022. The last date of counselling will be Jan 17. The candidates' verification will take place from Jan 18 and Jan 19. The seat allotment will take place by Jan 2022 and I round seat allotment result will be out on Jan ,22.
The dates for Round II seat allotment will be from Feb 3 to Feb 7 and round III from Feb 24 to Feb 28.

More than 11 lac candidates took NEET today at as many as 2200 exam centres in One Hundred and Four Cities across India. Total No of Medical and Dental Seats are above 52,000. The govt made all the precautions for its smooth conduct keeping in mind two-year-back AIIMS debacle.
Now there shall be no AIPMT. So only one Entrance Test and i.e. NEET. Competition is to be tougher than the last year's. So harder cut off with stricter result. So do visit us immediately after the exam (2017-18) for such info.

About NEET Exam 2017 -
As many as 12 lakh ( approximately ) aspirants had appeared for May 2017 NEET. Out of them approximately 10.5 lakh had taken the test in either Hindi or English Medium whereas around 1.5 lakh in 8 regional languages.
Before the June 12 verdict, the Apex Court had fixed June 1 deadline for the result. However, the Madras HC had put a stay on declaring the result. Now, the eager aspirants can expect it very soon ( within two or three days ).

At last CBSE had conducted the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test ( NEET) rechristened from AIPMT after a legal battle on May 1st 2016. The NEET 2 has also taken place on 24th of July It was the Phase I Exam whereas NEET Phase 2 is held on July 24, 2016.
A strict dress code was adopted to avoid any use of unfair means in the exam. All the candidates underwent frisking. The candidates with turbans, hijabs and sporting veils had to report in the examination centres by 8:30 am.

About NEET Phase 1 and Phase 2 Result
NEET is the new form of AIPMT which was a big failure last year due to leakage incident last year. The master mind of the leakage was arrested by the Rohtak Police and around 44 aspirants came out guilty and couldn't take AIPMT. Now NEET has been introduced after a big battle in the courts. The Supreme Court has refused to probe in to the alleged NEET leak case. Some candidates had entertain the petition seeking a court-monitoring probe in to the alleged leak of paper of NEET. The petitioner claimed around 3,00 students from Bihar, UP, Uttarakhand and some north-east states had collected at some resort in Haldwani and shared questions.
But the CBSE has rubbishes such allegations saying that the alleged leaked paper didn't match the real one. However, the SC granted liberty to the petitioners to approach the High Court of Uttarakhand. Read detailed news report from below -
