NEET 2016 – Admit Card available, Result by Aug 17

NEET Admit Card can be downloaded from below-

National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test in short NEET shall take place as per its schedules for giving admissions to MBBS and BDS students, the Apex Court of India has clarified. Now this common test shall be valid irrespective of the previous judgments by the lower courts regarding not conducting of NEET.

The NEET 2016 shall be held in two shifts – the first shift exam shall take place on 1st of May and the second shift exam shall be held on July 24. The Central Govt has on April 29th upheld that it is impossible to hold the exams in two shifts.

But the Supreme Court ruled out any change in the exam schedule. Even the Maharashtra Govt would also make appeal against this judgment citing that a large no of students shall be deprived to take the Pre-medical Entrance Test owing to this new ruling.

NEET will cover all the Govt Colleges, Deemed Universities and Private Colleges. These institutions shall not be allowed to hold the separate entrance tests. But the Entrance Test for PG Medical Courses shall not be covered by this test.

NEET ( Combined)¬† Result 2016 –

After conducting the Entrance exam in two shifts, the Result  of NEET shall be declared by August 17, 2016. The focus shall be on completing the Admission Process by Sept 30 so that the classes may begin as soon as possible.

Note – The Supreme Court has also clarified that this decision of it would not affect the hearing that is going on for seeking exemption from NEET 2016.
