JBT Entrance Test Syllabus/ Pattern 2020-2021-2022
J.B.T Pattern :-
In the Entrance Test ( JBT ) , there shall be 100 marks. Candidates must be Sr. Sec. ( 10 + 2 ) from a recognized institution/ school or must have same course. They must acquire 50% for Gen Category Candidates/ 45% marks for Reserve Category Candidates to sit in the JBT Entrance Test.
Passing score in the JBT –
40% marks are the passing marks for Gen Category. For the reserved category, there shall be 35% Marks.
Duration of JBT Entrance Test –
The candidates will be given 120 minutes ( Two hours ) for completing the test.
JBT ( Junior Basic Training ) Syllabus :-
There shall be four subjects chiefly :- General Awareness, General English, General Hindi, Numerical Ability etc. The test shall check the knowledge up to 10th class. Some questions may come from the 12th class. Each section shall carry 25 Marks at least. It means 100 Questions – 100 Marks.
JBT Entrance Exam Syllabus/ Pattern
General Awareness ( General Knowledge ) topics are – Sports, Disease, Politics, Business ( National/ International ), History, Geography etc. There shall be the local touch in the said topics.
General English Topics are –
The topics for English are Tense, Voice, Narration, Articles etc. These topics can be checked via Common Errors or Blanks etc. There shall also be the test of vocabulary ( synonyms, antonyms, one word substitution…..
Hindi for JBT Entrance Test –
The candidates will have to prepare the following topics of Hindi – स्वर , संधि , वाच्य , अलंकार , अनेक शब्दों के लिए एक शब्द इत्यादि ।
Numerical Ability/Reasoning Ability –
It ( Numerical Ability / Arithmetic ) will consist knowledge of Mathematics. The topics are – Percentage, Men/ Women / Work, Simple / Compound Interest/ Time / Relationship /Similarities/ Analysis etc. Such questions may be at the basic level, not very hard.
