JBT - ( Junior Basic Training )

Meaning of JBT -

This is a 2-year diploma course. We do it if we wish to be a teacher at Primary Level. During this course, pupils are taught to learn and prepare classroom lesson-plans, how to provide instructions effectively to tiny-tots etc.

Eligibility for doing JBT Course -

Eligibility to do this course is 10+2 ( any stream ) or equivalent course with 45% marks from a recognized school/ university.

Scope -

After doing JBT, a candidate can become a teacher, counselor, librarian, social-worker, PRO ( public relation officer ), coach etc

Admission to JBT -

There is the entrance test at the top most colleges/ universities. At some institutes, the admission takes place on merit basis as well.

Tips for clearing JBT entrance test -

As this is the Aptitude based test, the candidates must know the syllabus first of all.

Syllabus -

The syllabus is up to 10th class or some questions may come from 12th class.

The questions may come from General English, Hindi, General Awareness, Numerical Ability ( math ). Prepare these topics from NCERT 10th Class Book and crack the exam.

Prepare some Last years' Sample Papers/ Question Papers. You will get the most help from there. Timing is most important. This mock-test will help you in improving your timing as well.
