In an attempt to eradicate unemployment in the state, Haryana Govt has initiated a very powerful scheme called Saksham Yuva Scheme. The scheme came into existence in Nov 2016. However, the implementation could be possible from Dec 2016.
As the caption suggests, its aim is to empower the unemployed youth by providing them employment. The unemployed PG and UG candidates can get benefits of this scheme. Previously only the Post Graduates were included under this scheme but later on April 1st 2017, the govt increases its scope for the UG candidates also.
What is the aim of Saksham Yuva Scheme ?
As we have already mentioned that the main objective of this scheme is to make sure that the educated unemployed youth can get some income to sustain himself/herself and family. Under this scheme, the person shall get Rs 9000/- per month in lieu of 100 hours work a month. This salary shall also include the Unemployment Allowance of Rs 3000/-. So it’s somewhat good salary for the unemployed youth.
What is the progress of Employment under Saksham Yuva Scheme so far ?
So far around 10,000 candidates have applied for the scheme and approx 1356 candidates have got employment under this scheme.
Who/ How can apply for HSY (Haryana Saksham Yuva ) Scheme ? – Eligibility
Those who are graduate or post graduate can apply for this scheme. However there are also some more conditions to be eligible for this scheme.
- The candidates must the Haryana Resident only.
- The family income of the candidates must not exceed Rs 3 lac per annum.
- He/she should not be doing job anywhere either in a Private or public sector service.
- His/Her name must be registered in Haryana Employment Exchange.
Selection Procedure –
The candidates have to undergo the interview process. The selection is only on the merit basis. The marks in the qualifying degrees play an important role in the final selection.
Where will the Govt employ the selected candidates ?
Under the Saksham Yuva Scheme, the selected candidates can get jobs in any of the govt departments/ banks in the state. The nature of the job shall be temporary. As we have mentioned above, the candidates shall have to work for 100 hours in one month. They are expected to work as helpers in the department where they will get the job.

For online registration for Saksham Yuva Scheme, the candidates needn’t go to any computer centre. They can register themselves on their own. For that they need to go to the official website – http://www.hrex.org/ .
Here they will click on the candidate’s registration. Fill all the details. You will be registered. Keep the registration no with you safely. The Haryana Employment exchange will send your status to various departments. Very soon the concerned dept shall call you for the interview.
