Procedure for Selection in Haryana Police –
Now-a-days HSSC holds the Selection related tests. The Selection involves written exam, Physical Screening Test, Medical Test and document verification. There are change in rules from time to time.
The govt is also doing its best to minimize the chances of using wrong means in the selection procedure. In order to curb the corruption in the selection of Police Personnel, Haryana govt has marginalized the interview marks.
Even the court keeps intervening to protect the interests of the police aspirants. Recently, Punjab and Haryana High Court has directed the HSSC that it would hold the Physical efficiency tests using electronic gadgets.

Haryana Police Constable/ SI/ ASI Recruitment 2017

The selection involves many obstacles such as Written Exam. The Haryana Cabinet which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mr ML Khattar took a big decision regarding the recruitment of Police Personnel in the state.
The Haryana cabinet today okayed nod for scrapping the former CM Hooda’s order on jobs in the Police Department. Now the Police Recruitment Board will have no existence. It will be substituted by the State Selection Board.
The cabinet also relaxed the Physical Standards for the recruitment of the Constables. The main objective is to create transparency in the selection of the Police Personnel in the state.
Chief Minister has already announced earlier that the state would recruit around 13,000 police personnel in the state. The govt has made a bit of change in merit formation process.
The interview system has been reduced to marginal line. There are many recruitment ahead, that’s why the decision to expand the Haryana Public Service Commission has taken recently.
Even the Health Minister Vij has also indicated that a large no of Doctors will get recruitment for which the Notification will come out soon.
