The university came in to being in 1920 with the sincere efforts of Raja Sir Mohammad Ali Mohammad Khan. Three colleges became the integral part of this university. These colleges were –

1. The King George’s Medical College
2. The Canning College
3. and the Isabella Thoburn College.

Courses Offered By LU, Lucknow –

Students find almost all the courses here in the university. The university offers various UG and PG programmes to cater to the needs of its wards. There are umpteen courses under the following departments –

Dos and Don’ts at Examination Centres –

• The examinees will have to reach the examination hall half an hour before the exam.
• They must not use any inappropriate means during the exam. If invigilators find any student involved in copying, the latter shall be responsible for the action. So don’t try to copy.
• They must not carry books, paper, electronic gadget, calculator etc to the examination hall.
