The Notification for MAHA TET 2017 had come on 15/06/2017. It was released by Govt of Maharashtra for the candidates who wish to join teaching community at Primary Level ( Lower Primary and Upper Primary ).
So the candidates had to make a choice between these two categories as per their Qualification. The qualification was Graduate /Post Graduate with the degree/diploma in the concerned area. The candidates could have applied online. The conclusion date for the registration was 30/06/2017.
MAHA TET Exam schedule -
Maharashtra TET was scheduled on 22/06/2017. There were two papers as per the levels. The MAHA TET Paper 1 took place from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm whereas Paper 2 from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
Result/ Answer key for MAHA TET 2017 -2018 - Check Details
Now the whole procedure regarding MAHA TET is done and some days have gone since the test was held, the examinees seem impatient regarding their TET Result. The concerned department is undergoing the last process of preparing the result.
As per the reports from various channels, the Result may be out in First Week of August. The candidates can view their Result by entering the MAHA TET official website.
MAHA TET Answer Key -
You shall be able to view your answer key/ solution of the paper as per the levels. The concerned authority shall upload this keys within two or three days of the exam. It is imperative for the candidates to tally their answers with their respective answer key. If you find doubt or any question wrong, you can also raise objections within the stipulated period. MAHA TET Exam Scheme -
Maharashtra TET follows the pattern and syllabus fixed for CBSE TET. 150 Questions of 150 Marks. For eligibility the candidates need to get at least 90 Marks. The successful candidates are provided by the MAHA TET Certificate that is valid for next 5 years.
In case, the candidates don't get job on the basis of this certificate, they need to sit in MAHA TET again. Read some interested story related with it. For SC/ST/PWD candidates there is the relaxation of 7 marks i.e. they need to secure only 83 Marks.
- MAHA TET Level 1 - It is required for Primary Teachers from 1st to 5.
- MAHARASHTRA TET Level 2 - This test needs to be cleared for getting teachers' jobs from 6th to 8th.
Without TET certificates, the candidates can't apply for teaching jobs in govt and semi-govt schools. But holding MAHA TET certificates don't make you eligible to get govt jobs. There is the need to follow selection procedure.
