UP govt had released notification for mammoth 40,000 posts of Safai Karamchari. There was unprecedented response from the job-seekers of this election bound state.
Amazingly besides the Matric/Sr Secondary/ Graduates, there were B.Tech/ MBA candidates who had applied for these posts. There were applications in lakhs from Uttar Pradesh. It shows the grim condition of unemployment in this one of the largest states of the country. The fact had also become a news on National Channels.
So far the concerned board is holding Interviews of the candidates. Moreover, these interviews are district-wise. The whole interview process may take at least over a few months. Then on the basis of the performance of the interview, the board shall prepare Merit List.
The places of Safai Karamchari Interviews are concerned Nagar Nigam (नगर निगम) and Nagar Panchayat Office ( नगर पंचायत कार्यालय ). Viewing big crowd of the applicants, the Nigams are holding interviews in various shifts. Therefore, the candidates need to be in touch with the local newspapers.
