The Haryana Cabinet which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mr ML Khattar took a big decision regarding the recruitment of Police Personnel in the state.
The Haryana cabinet today okayed nod for scrapping the former CM Hooda’s order on jobs in the Police Department. Now the Police Recruitment Board will have no existence and it will be substituted by the State Selection Board.
The cabinet also relaxed the Physical Standards for the recruitment of the Constables. It seems that whole practice is being done to create transparency in the selection of the Police Personnel in the state.
Chief Minister has already announced earlier that the state would recruit around 13,000 police personnel in the state. There has been made a bit of change in merit formation process.
The interview system has been reduced to marginal line. There are many recruitments ahead, that’s why the decision to expand the Haryana Public Service Commission has taken recently.
Even the Health Minister Vij has also indicated that a large no of Doctors will be recruited for which the Notification will come out soon.

The VAT on LED lights has been reduced to just 5% from 12.5%
To promote the use of Bio-fertilizers, it will be exempted from VAT.
