CLAT 2017 Answer key –
The Law Common Entrance Test was held on 14th of May 2017 at 66 cities in the country. This time the CLAT was held by Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab. The timing of the exam was from 3 pm to 5 pm. The Official Answer key has been out on 25th May 2017.
Last Year CLAT had taken place on 8th of May. As per the report, the answer key carried as many as 15 errors. Instead of helping the examinees in judging their performance, it disturbed them. Now for the fair judgement, they are waiting for their 29/05/2017 exam result.
Date of CLAT Result – The result is expected to be out near about on 25th of May 2017.

As per the views from some of the CLAT 2017 takers, the exam was not so easy. All of them unanimously believe that English Portion was easy comparing to last year’s paper but the Logical Reasoning and GK portion made them bite their fingers. The students couldn’t guess the answers as there was also the system of negative marking ( 0.25 deducted for any of the wrong attempts)
- The CLAT Expected lower cut off for the General Category candidates may be – 150 to 155
- For OBC Candidates – 145 to 150
- For SC Candidates the lower cut off may be – 136 to 141
- And For ST Candidates – 132 to 137

The test was held to give admission to UG and PG Course in any of the 17 Universities in the country. For the UG course the students clearing or appearing 12th class from any of the streams could have applied. The Test was held online.
