Commission ( SSC ) has conducted the Exam for Tier 1 Level for the Combined Graduate Level on 16th of August quite successfully. More exams are ahead. Millions of candidates across the country sat in the paper which was held at various centres in the country.

Brief Analysis of SSC CGL August 9th and 16th August Exam –

It was a Written exam with MCQs. The Tier 1 Exam consisted of 4 Subjects named Competitive English, Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability and General Awareness and Knowledge.

The total marks allocated to this paper were 200. There was also the provision of Negative marking which kept the examinees aware regarding giving any wrong answers.

Latest Update – SSC Tier 1 Exam held on 9th of August which was cancelled due to some technical snags, is re-scheduled on 30th of August. Around 2030 candidates shall take this exam. As per the SSC Officials, those students who will not appear in the 30th August Exam, their 9th August Answer Sheets will be evaluated.

Expected Cut Off for SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam –

  • For General Category – It may be  somewhere 130-140
  • For OBC Category candidates – 120-130
  • Schedule Caste Candidates– 110-120
  • For Schedule Tribes – 100-110

Note – This cut off is based only on speculation based on our discussion with a few examinees. But the Actual Cut off may be somewhat near.

How to check your SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam Result-cum-Merit List 2017-2018 ?

The Process of Evaluation of the Answer Sheets has begun immediately after the  exam is over. The marking will not take much time as it is computer based. So keep your finger crossed every time as the CGL Result may be declared any time from now.

When the Result is available at the official website, the candidates need to follow the following steps –

  • Quick your way to the official website first of all i.e. – ssc.nic.in
  • Here search for the desired link ” Tier 1 Result”
  • Click on it and fill your Exam Roll No along with the Religion.
  • The Result shall be available for you to view.
