Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board, a govt authority to conduct TET in the State, has invited applications from the teaching aspirants in UP for the highly competitive Qualifying Test known as UPTET.
The board holds this Eligibility Test every year for hundreds of thousands of candidates wishing to be school teachers in the capacity of Lower Primary Teachers and Upper Primary Teachers ( TGTs ).
Update UP TET 2021 -
UP TET paper has been leaked on WhatsApp. 21 lakh candidates are very sad due to this leakage. UP CM Yogi Adityanath has said those who were involved in this paper leakage must lose their property. Three accused have been nabbed in this leakage case. It is believed new UPTET exam date may come in Dec 2021.

UPTET 2019 Postponed 21st Dec - The UP govt has postponed the coming UPTET ( 22nd Dec 2019 ) citing law and order situations ( no internet facility ) in the state. The board had done full preparations for the conducting of the test such as it had dispatched OMR sheets and other concerned papers to all the districts. The board had also dispatched scanned admit cards of the candidates to the centre superintend.
Around 16 to 17 lakh candidates will be directly affected by this postponement of UPTET.
New Exam Date - So far, the board has not declared new exam date. Before declaring the new date, it will check the law and order situation in the state.

UPTET Admit Card/Roll No. from below/ Check New Exam Date
As TET is necessary to be qualified in Teaching Department at School Level, Admit Card is necessary to be eligible to enter the Examination Hall. We are reiterating that Admission Card link for Dec UPTET is given underneath. Use that link for obtaining your admit card.
The UP govt has postponed the 22nd Dec TET for the further dates due to law and order problems in the state.
After downloading your Admit Card, we suggest you to check all the information printed on it. Such information must be corresponding to one provided by you at the time when you had filled UPTET Applications. Dos and Don'ts regarding the UPTET are also available. Dos and Don'ts for UPTET examinees -
- Don't carry any gadgets such as mobiles/ calculators etc.
- Make sure you are carrying Admit Card ( attested by the gazetted officer)
- Don't carry exam related material/ study material to the examination centre.

UPTET Pattern in one Glance
Like other Teachers' Eligibility Tests in the country, this test shall also consist of two Papers - Paper 1 and Paper 2. Obviously it shall be a paper of 150 Marks bifurcated in to 90+60. The first part shall carry Child Development and Pedagogy, L -1 and L-2, 30 Marks each. The other portion shall carry the concerned subjects in both the levels.

UPTET Cut Off Marks -
As this is the qualifying Test, the cut off is certain.
For General Candidates it is 60% that is 90 Marks out of 150. And For Reserved categories it is 55%. For more read the Notification from the official website.
