Latest – After a bit of uncertainty, the Education board of UP has released the Admission Roll No Card at its website on05/12/2016. Get them from below.
Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board, a govt authority to conduct TET in the State, has invited applications from the teaching aspirants in UP for the highly competitive Qualifying Test known as UPTET.
The board holds this Eligibility Test every year for hundreds of thousands of candidates wishing to be school teachers in the capacity of Lower Primary Teachers and Upper Primary Teachers ( TGTs ).
The UPTET shall be held on 19th of Dec. 2016. The Admit cards are to be available from Dec 5, 2016. As per the official news, the UPTET Call Letters shall be published at the official website in the upcoming days. Around 7.5 lac candidates are expected to take this exam.

Download your UPTET Dec 2016 Admit Card from below
As TET is necessary to be qualified in Teaching Department at School Level, Admit Card is necessary to be eligible to enter the Examination Hall. We are reiterating that Admission Card for Dec TET may be uploaded at the official website at least 10 or 15 days prior to exam through the links given underneath. So the Call Letter date is the first of December.
After downloading your Admit Card, we suggest you to check all the information printed on it. Such information must be corresponding to one provided by you at the time when you had filled UPTET Applications. Dos and Don’ts regarding the UPTET 2016 shall be published later. We shall be in the continuous process to update this process for your benefit. Thanks.
Dos and Don’ts for UPTET examinees –
- Don’t carry any gadgets such as mobiles/ calculators etc.
- Make sure you are carrying Admit Card ( attested by the gazetted officer)
- Don’t carry exam related material/ study material to the examination centre.

UPTET Pattern in one Glance
Like other Teachers’ Eligibility Tests in the country, this test shall also consist of two Papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2. Obviously it shall be a paper of 150 Marks bifurcated in to 90+60. The first part shall carry Child Development and Pedagogy, L -1 and L-2, 30 Marks each. The other portion shall carry the concerned subjects in both the levels.

UPTET Cut Off Marks –
As this is the qualifying Test, the cut off is certain.
For General Candidates it is 60% that is 90 Marks out of 150. And For Reserved categories it is 55%. For more read the Notification from the official website.

Official Website shall provide you the Last Years’ Question papers. Moreover, there are books from where also you can get those question papers. Go through them and get to know your preparation level.
Adjust your timing –
No doubt, Timing is very important in such competitive exams. But in TETs, the examinees have sufficient time. Still time management is must. Do some Mock Test/ Sample Papers for such purpose.
