ESIC Result 2017 for UDC MTS Stenographer Exam with Cut Off

It’s been almost more than 11 months since ESIC had conducted CBT for UDC/ Steno/ MTS Posts. The unprecedented delay in declaring the result has caused concern among the candidates. The Exams occurred on 18th, 19th, 21st and 27th of March last year ( 2016).

Undoubtedly, there were myriad no of candidates which caused the ESIC to hold the exams in series. From time to time, there remained rife rumor regarding the result announcement.

ESIC Result with Cut OffESIC Result Dates –

First of all the news came that the exam output shall be out in November 2016. But it couldn’t. Now there is surmise that the result may be out by the end of Feb 2017. We hope it to be out on the said time now. As per some official sources, the final touch in preparing the ESIC UDC/ Stenographer/ MTS is being given. So you should be very hopeful for it now.

ESIC Recruitment Story in one go –

The department had initiated the recruitment process way back on Dec 7, 2015. The registration had to take place in steps. The Step I application form completion process ended on 06/01/2016. However, the aspirants could have paid their fee through challan by 12/01/2016.

The Step II registration had finished on 15/01/2016. The exams were scheduled in March 2016 for which the admit card came out on March 15, 2016. However to a great irritation to the candidates, the result is still pending.

The highest no of seats went to Maharashtra with Four hundred and eighty five seats followed by Kolkata with Four Hundred and Sixty. Kerala got the least no two in its bag.

ESIC UDC/ MTS and Stenographer Result 2017 with Selection Process –

ESIC has already described the selection process for all the posts. We think that the candidates must know about them before viewing their result.

 UDC Selection Process –

The Unreserved Candidates must secure at least 40% in the Written Exam whereas Reserved Category candidates will need only 35%.

Then there shall be Computer Skill Test of 50 Marks. Out of which the candidates need to get 17 Marks.

NoteOnly those candidates who shall be able to clear Written Exam shall get the chance to sit in the Skill Test 2017.

ESIC MTS Selection Criteria –

There is no Skill Based Test in MTS Selection. Therefore the candidates shall have to ensure their marks as per the following categories –

Stenographer Post Cut Off Marks and Selection Criteria –

  • Written Test – 33% for UR and 30 % for Reserved Category
  • Stenography Test
  • Computer Proficiency Test ( Fifty Marks out of which the candidates need to score only 17 Marks).
