The university got its existence in 1975 as an affiliating university. For more than 40 years of its birth, it has been serving the society by providing quality education. The original name of the University was Rohilkhand University.
However, it got the present name as Mahatama Jyotiba Phule University in August 1997. At present, the university has more than Two Hundred and Fifteen Affiliated Colleges under it.
MJP provides myriad no of courses under the following faculties –
Education, Arts, Commerce, Science, Law, Engineering and Technology, Management, Dental Sciences, Applied Sciences etc.
The courses are – Bachelor of Arts ( BA), Commerce ( B.Com), Science ( B.Sc), Education ( B.Ed), Masters ( MA/ M.Com/M.Sc/ M.Tech/ M.Ed and so on. The university holds the term end exams every year for the regular/private candidates. After proper evaluation, the university declares the result.

MJP PG Courses Exam Date-sheet 2022-2023
For Post Graduate Classes the Exam may begin from 01/06/2017. These exams shall also be the same timing as UG ( Three Shifts). The concluding exam shall fall on 30/08/2017.
Instructions related with MJP Exams –
- The Examinees must read all the exam related schedule carefully. Follow only University attested Exam Schedule.
- If any of the examinees walks out, he/she shall be marked absent and result of that person shall not be announced.
- The university doesn’t allow the change of Practical/ Written /Oral Exam Date and Sitting Arrangement.
- The Exam Controller shall sign on the Exam Changing Notification if any.
MJP Exam Results
After the exams, the answer copies go to the evaluation centres. There authorized teachers mark them in the set frame of time. After evaluation work, the copies go the result branch of the university where concerned clerks prepare and upload results on the official website of the university. Here the students can check their result by entering their roll no and class.
