UDAAN 2016 at examweb.inWe feel pleasure to announce that Central Board of School Education ( CBSE) has released a notification for Online Applications for UDAAN Scheme 2021-2022-2023. This scheme is only for the 10+1 girls of KVS/ NVS and CBSE run private and govt schools. Online application form can be filled from 04.07.2016 to 13.07.2016 at official website of CBSE. 1,000 girls for the said schools.

The girls candidates in 10+1 with Physics, Chemistry and Math can apply but they must have 70% marks in all the subjects and 80% marks in subjects like Science and Mathematics. There is also the economic condition for applying. The Girls’ family should not have more income than Rs 6 Lac per annum.

The Selection for Preparation for Admission at Premier Engineering Colleges shall be made purely on merit basis. There is also the provision of the Reservation that goes like this –

About UDAAN Programme –

UDAAN Programme is a Central Govt Scheme under Ministry of Human Resource Development. the main objective of this programme is to hone the girl students for admission to to prestigious colleges of India for Engineering Colleges. It is believed that girl students don’t get enough opportunity / guidance for admission to Engineering Institutes.

There are many reasons for that – Financial Problem, Mindset of the people towards the education of the girls. There is the low presence of Girl students in the Prestigious colleges of Engineering in India. The reasons were found out and there is the effort to make their maximum presence in such institutions.
