Syllabus-cum-Exam Pattern with Practice Sets for AP Police Written Tests 2016
AP Police Recruitment Board is always in action regarding Recruitment related exams. The reason is the constant recruitment drive. At present also, the board is under process of recruiting police personnel such as Stipendiary Cadet Trainee ( SCT), Police Constable, Warder, Sub-Inspectors, Assistant Sub- Inspectors etc. For these posts the written exam shall take place on 18th of October 2016. There are 4548 posts of Stipendiary Cadet Trainee ( SCT), Police Constable, Warder. The last date for applying for these posts is 14th of Sept 2016. As the exam is in October, you have a couple of months for preparation. The successful candidates shall face the further modes of selection such Physical Test/ Medical Test, Main Test and Oral Test. So Preliminary test is more important. The cut off is always very high as the candidates are in lakhs.

AP Police Prelim Exam2016 Patten with Complete Syllabus
First of there shall be Preliminary. It shall carry 120 Questions. No need to say that they shall be MCQs. The topics include – General Awareness ( 50 Marks) / General Intelligence and Reasoning ( 35 Marks) / Arithmetic ( 35 Marks) . It shall be followed by Physical Measurements Test, Physical Efficiency Test and Main Examination.
Andhra Police Written exam ( Preliminary ) Syllabus –
General Awareness –
This portion shall include questions on History, Geography, Politics, Sports, Constitutions, Police Force, Literature of India, World and Andhra Pradesh.
Constable Reasoning Test –
This portion shall carry Analogy, Decision Making, Series, Coding/Decoding, Blood Relation, Statement and Conclusion, Word Formation, Sitting Arrangement
Numerical Ability –
The topics are Time and Work, Time and Distance, Average, Ratio, Percentage, Profit and Loss, Clocks, Simple and Compound Interest, Data Interpretation, Pie-chart.
