ASSAM POLICE Sub-Inspector Result Update –
The Exam had taken place for Three Hundred and Seventy Three posts of ASI and Assistant Jailers. The Written Test was of 100 Marks. Then there was the Physical Efficiency Test ( PET) of 40 marks.
The last step was the Personal Interview of 20 Marks. Total marks of the selection are 160 Marks. The final merit list of SI contained 20 Marks each for Computer Proficiency and Extra Activity. Check the result from ahead –
Assam Police Recruitment Board had conducted the test for the Recruitment of Constables to work in various Police Stations in Assam. There were 6748 Posts of Constables for which a large no of eligible candidates who took the Written Exam on 28th of June 2015.
Now the examinees are in wait for the Police Constable Cut Off List. As per the Sources the Result for the 6748 Posts shall be online soon. We shall provide links below.
Assam Police Constable / SI Selection Procedure 2021-2022-2023 With Merit List-
To select the meritorious candidates, there was the need to have some transparent and fool-proof Selection Procedure. There was the Written Test, Physical Efficiency Test, PST and so on. The final merit shall be result of the accumulated performance in all these exams.
It was the Objective Type Exam which was taken by more than 50,000 eligible candidates. As is the custom, the Written Exams for such categories of posts are not so tough, there was no exception in this case as well. The main focus on the Physical Standard.

Let’s throw some Light on the Assam Constable Written Exam –
The Written exam consisted of 50 Questions which were of 25 marks. The maximum marks for PET were 60. For Extra-curricular activity and other Special Skills 15 Marks were awarded.
The syllabus for the Written Exam was prepared from the classes up to 10th class. Total marks for the Exam are 100. For result related details go below –

- Last Option – First Name/ Surname/ Date of Birth/ Name of District
- The Result shall come out immediately.

I like the selection process of AB constable this year. I do not like the Viva test where a member of the selection body get chance to cancel a suitable candidate. Viva test is necessary. But now a days it is seen misused. But in this year I seen a boy named Hirak Jyoti Dutta belonging to OBC caste has been indicated as General caste in the result sheet, Perhaps so he have to lost his reservation posts for OBC. He is qualified in both in physical and written test but his name is not in the final selection list. I request the authority to look into the matter with sympathy.
